Having trained at Manchester Metropolitan University I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 2000.
I have since worked in a variety of settings including clinics, nurseries, mainstream and special schools, language SERFs and children’s centres, with children from 2 to 18 years.
I have extensive experience of working with children who have a speech and language delay / disorder both in the public and independent sectors.
I set up Bright stars speech therapy after leaving my role in the NHS. I wanted to make a real difference to children in Lancashire with speech and language difficulties, many of who were sitting on long waiting lists.
I have over 20 years experience as a specialist speech and language therapist and have worked with a wide range of children in schools nurseries and clinics. I am passionate about making a difference and will always go the extra mile for my clients and their families.
I offer a high quality service with no waiting lists. Children make progress fast and their confidence grows with every visit. I also work in local schools and provide training for staff to give them a greater understanding of how they can help children with speech and language delay.
